Girona Excel\u00b7lent is the Diputaci\u00f3 de Girona’s seal of agri-food quality<\/strong> that identifies the best products from the Girona region. The selected products are all produced entirely in the Girona region and have been selected through blind tastings by the best chefs, oenologists and food critics.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Chosen in fifteen blind tastings.<\/h4>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”small” position=”left” color=”#000000″ thickness=”2″ up=”10″ down=”10″][vc_column_text css=””]A total of 137 products from 83 different companies will bear the Girona Excel\u00b7lent seal in 2025 and 2026. The products were chosen during the month of May 2025 in blind tastings within the fifteen families of selected products: mineral waters, rice, preserves and semi-preserves, ready meals, cold cuts, dried fruit, foie gras, biscuits, dairy products, olive oil, honey, coffees and medicinal herbs, beers, wines, fortified wines and liqueurs.
